Joe has been the president and co-owner of Yonkers Tennis Center since 1986. He is also a partner of the Curco Operating Company and the JoMale Reality Corporation, both Yonkers-based management and development companies.

Joe is very passionate about community involvement. He has been active on the boards of several Westchester & Putnam County organizations. Joe is a current member of the Haldane Board of Education, President, Friends of Philipstown Rectreation Inc, Trustee and Westchester Green Business Challenge, Advisory Board, . In the past he has served on the Westchester Coalition For the Hungry & Homeless, Haldane School Foundation, Julia L. Butterfield Memorial Library, Philipstown Little League, and Yonkers Partners in Education.

Joe resides in his quaint town of Cold Spring, New York with his Wife, Kathy, their four children, AJ, Maya, Maisy and Sam and dog, Emme.

Simon has worked at Yonkers Tennis Center since 2003 and has always had a passion for tennis and teaching. An Australian native he brings over 15 years of management experience to Yonkers Tennis Center. Simon always ensures that the club is running smoothly and keeps everyone excited about the world of tennis.

Mark has 8 years of teaching experience under his belt, and 15 of competitive playing experience. Mark has been a member of the Yonkers Tennis Staff since 2008. He was formally ranked in the top 10 in New England in Singles and Doubles competition. Mark graduated from Marist College with an International Business Degree. He was a part of their Division I Men’s Tennis Team and held the position of Team Captain. He has previously worked as an international recruiter in Barcelona to train and place European athletes into colleges throughout the United States. Mark helps coordinate all of our Adult Programs at Yonkers Tennis Center: Clinics, USTA Team Tennis & Men’s Match Play.

Claudio has been a member of the Yonkers Tennis Center staff since 2011, he brings to us 12 years of teaching experience and passion for 10 & Under Tennis. He has worked for the USTA New England Section where he served as the Community Coordinator for the State of Connecticut. He also held the position of the Jr. Head Professional at the East Hartford Racquet Club. Claudio is a certified teaching professional for the USPTA and USPTR. He is a former USTA RCW Clinician and National QuickStart trainer for the New England Region and works with some of New England’s topped ranked players. Claudio brings a wealth of experience to YTC that will benefit all of our players.

Coach Pat, as he would prefer to be called, has been a part of the Yonkers Tennis Center staff since 1971, he brings over 40 years of teaching experience to the club. He celebrated his 40th year as a USPTA Pro 1. H.E.R.O. Volunteer and is a member of the USTRA, USTA and a former ETA junior recreation Committee Member. CPR graduated from Iona College with a MBA in Spanish Education and decided to stay in the teaching business, of tennis that is. Pat spends his days teaching, stringing up our customers’ racquets, running YTC’s Pro-Shop and is the only YTC staff member caught breaking out a tune in the middle of the lobby or on court!

Teaching professional Chris Gale brings 15 years of teaching experience to Yonkers Tennis Center. He was previously ranked inside the top 10 in Western Australia, in Singles and Doubles. Gale was the former Director of tennis at The Dunes Club, in Narragansett, Rhode Island. He spends his summers outside in the sun soaking up the sun at Duxbury Yatch Club.

Richard has been a member of the Yonkers Tennis Center Staff since 2002 and is fully certified with the USPTR. He was a former top 10 Junior Player in the Dominican Republic. Richard has previously held positions as a teaching professional at Tennisport in Long Island City and as an Assistant Tennis Professional with the Greenwich Field Tennis Club. In the summer time he resides at Leewood Country Club.

Sanots has been a part of the Yonkers Tennis Center Staff since 2008, and comes to us all the way from Dominican Republic where he was formally ranked. In the past he has been a teaching professional at Casa De Campos, Resort Hotel, and West Rock Tennis Club. He also has held Head Tennis Professional position for 15 years at Trumbull Racquet club.

Cleary has been a member of the Yonkers Tennis Center Staff since 2008 and bring 10 years of teaching experience to the club. She is a fully Certified Tennis Professional with the USPTA and USPTR. Cleary played 2nd singles for Catawba College, a Division II team, and was Mixed Doubles Champion in 2005 and 2006 for Commonwealth of Virginia. She has previously held positions as Head Tennis Professional at Grand Slam Tennis Club, Shenrock Shore Club and Sun Tennis.

Kathy, or Kashia when the polish in her comes out, has been a member of the Yonkers Tennis Center Staff since 1995. She received her communications degree and minored in business at the college of Mt. St. Vincent. After graduation, Kathy quickly decided that Yonkers Tennis Center was the right move. Kathy uses her happy go lucky personality to schedule over 500 kids in our junior program; she has previously held the position of our front desk coordinator.

She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Psychology degree, where she was a four year letter Diver and honored by the University in 2006 by at the National Women’s in sports day. Julie spends her days at YTC battling numbers and key aspects of our billing department.
