Just as kids need a court that suits their size, they also need the right size equipment. 10 and Under Tennis uses equipment that is scaled down to the size and ability level of young children.

Levels
Red Ball - Kids immediately experience the fun of actually playing tennis. Through practice and play they will learn the building blocks of tennis, including technique, movement, scoring and court sense.
Orange Ball - Working on a larger court, players now are introduced to tactical play while continuing to develop their adult technique.
Green Ball - Players are led through all the different playing opportunities and challenges of tennis. With clear practice and play pathways, kids have the chance to reach their full potential without limit.
Balls
Kids need a ball that is equal to their playing abilities. A regulation ball moves too fast, bounces too high and is too heavy for the smaller racquet. This helps them use correct technique.
Red Ball = 75% decompressed
Orange Ball = 50% decompressed
Green Ball = 25% decompressed
Racquets
Children also need a racquet that is proportionate to their height and hand size.
Racquet sizes are:
19", 21", 23", 25" and 26"
Courts
Red Ball - 36' court
Orange Ball - 60' court
Green Ball - 78' court (regulation size)
